Dr. Cynthia Larive, a professor of chemistry, Divisional Dean, and an Environmental Toxicology Program faculty member, has been selected to receive the 2015 Award for
Volunteer Service from the American Chemical Society. From the UCR
website, "the award recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to
the goals and objectives of the society". Dr. Larive will receive the award
next spring at the ACS national meeting in Denver,
Colo. Our congratulations to Cindy for this nice recognition.
