Society of Toxicologic Pathology Meeting in San Diego - Opportunities for Students

I received the following message today.  It looks like a good opportunity for students to learn about a different aspect of toxicology.

Dear Colleague,
The Society of Toxicologic Pathology is seeking to broaden its membership by reaching out to scientists and students (veterinary/residents/graduate) involved or interested in safety assessment, teaching, or research in toxicologic pathology/toxicology, and inviting them to join the STP and attend our 35th Annual Symposium in San Diego, CA at the Manchester Grand Hyatt June 26-30, 2016.

To help us reach scientists and students at your institution with a variety of backgrounds and research interests, we request you to kindly post our Annual Symposium information (see below) in your departmental newsletter and/or continuing education section of your Website.  Alternatively, please forward this information to the appropriate person or provide us with the contact information.

Please note that registration fees for STP student members will be waived this year.  Non-member students who apply by April 1 for STP student membership ($30 annual dues) (https://www.toxpath.org/member_app_info.asp) and are approved, can also register for free.  In addition, nonmembers who apply for membership prior to June 30 and who are accepted will receive complimentary membership for the remainder of 2016. Please visit www.toxpath.org to apply for membership.

Important deadlines include:
Abstract Submission Deadline:  March 15, 2016
Student Travel Award Deadline:  March15, 2016
Advance Registration Deadline:  April 10, 2016

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Kris Helke DVM, PhD, DACVP
