Assistant Professor position at UC Irvine

The Environmental Health Graduate Program at UC Irvine has opened a national search for an assistant professor of environmental toxicology.  As described in the job advertisement, "The successful applicant will have a strong record of publication and evidence of peer-reviewed funding in a research area related to the adverse effects of environmental hazards on human health, with a strong molecular emphasis. Experience teaching at the graduate level is also essential. The program has particular interests in neurotoxicology, carcinogenesis, and inhalation toxicology, although we will consider candidates in all areas of environmental toxicology. Applicants must possess the Ph.D. and/or M. D. or equivalent degree, and postdoctoral training in toxicology or environmental health sciences is preferred."  More information can be found here.

Toxicology Positions Available at the EPA

The EPA through ORISE has postgraduate or postdoctoral research project training opportunities available within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA).  They are particularly interested in individuals in the areas of Neurotoxicology, Reproductive/ Developmental Toxicology, Epidemiology, and Cancer Biology.  More information can be found here.
