Toxicology and Risk Assessment Positions in the States of Washington and Minnesota

Prof. Samantha Ying's Research on Manganese Highlighted in UCR News

Prof. Samantha Ying, a professor in the Environmental Sciences Department and ETOX faculty member,  in collaboration with Prof. Kurt Schwabe have recently received a grant from the National Institutes of Health to study the prevalence of manganese in private wells in the United States and to begin an initial investigation to determine if there are adverse health effects associated with Mn exposure. Their research in this area has been highlighted in UCR News. Our congratulations to Drs. Ying and Schwabe on their new grant and for this recognition of their research.
