Maggie Curras-Collazo, an ETOX faculty member and associate professor of Cell Biology & Neuroscience, was selected by the American Physiology Society to receive the 2013 ADInstruments Macknght Progressive Educator Award for her dedication to the teaching of undergraduate students. The APS Education Committee indicated that it was impressed with a course that Dr. Curras-Collazo developed entitled Educational Training in Neuroscience Outreach which trains neuroscience majors at UCR with teaching skills that they use to educate members of the public.
