Toxikon is seeking a Research Associate for our Genetic Toxicology department. This position will be responsible for performing a number of in vitro and in vivo assays in the area of genetic toxicology for regulatory submissions, as well as screening assays to support lead candidate compound selection efforts of the pharmaceutical industry.
The successful candidate will be a recent Ph.D. in Genetic Toxicology with a strong base in genetic and molecular toxicology as evidenced by publications in reputable journals. The candidate must have practical experience in bacterial mutation assays, in vitro and in vivo chromosomal aberration assays, forward mutation assay in mammalian cells, UDS and comet assay. Experience with flow cytometric analysis of micronucleated cells using FACS Canto II is highly desirable. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and a team player.
