Update on Alumnus Reza Allahyari

Today I ran into Reza Allahyari, one of the early ETOX alumni, in a local supermarket.  He has retired from teaching at Riverside Community College but continues to teach part-time at Claremont College.  He is also doing translation work on the side.  It was good to see him and catch up on his life.

What a pleasant surprise to see your photo, Reza.
This is Bob Schlesinger. We taught in the Chemistry Department at Chaffey College years ago. I went into the patent law field, as you may recall, and retired early in 2009. I married in 2000. My wife is Chinese and our daughter is considering UCR. I've made sure she has a broad science background. My research interests have drifted to astrophysics and cosmology, and I collect ethnographic art and artifacts. We reside in RC. If you get out this way, don't hesitate to look me up.

Hello.
Has anyone heard of Mr. Reza Allahyari recently? His family back home is concerned and have not heard of him for a long time. An update will be appreciated so we could let them know his well being.
Thanks,
Sepi
