The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has an opening for a toxicologist in its Office of Research Standards (ORS), with a focus on Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and other persistent contaminants. In this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing complex technical assessments of chemical toxicities and risks for priority PFAS and other emerging contaminants; assisting in the development of policy and method recommendations for standards and guidelines for such chemicals to protect public health; and conducting research in these and related areas.
