Cindy Larive appointed Chancellor at UC Santa Cruz

Provost Cindy Larive, Chemistry and Environmental Toxicology faculty member and valued colleague, has been appointed as the 11th Chancellor of UC Santa Cruz.  More information can be found at the University of California press release.  We congratulate Cindy for this honor and recognition and wish her the best of success in her new position. I might mention that Cindy is the 2nd Chancellor within the University of California who has a notable connection to environmental toxicology.  The first was Ted Hullar who served as Chancellor at UC Riverside (1985-87) and UC Davis (1987-94) and was a member of the Environmental Toxicology faculty at UC Davis.
