Dr. Wendy Hwang-Verslues, an ETOX alumna who is currently an Assistant Research Fellow in the Genomics Research Center at the Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan, came to campus on April 1st and presented a seminar on her ongoing research on breast cancer pathways. The seminar entitled, "Mechanisms underlying breast tumorigenesis -- Old concepts, new stories" was excellent and described a couple of avenues of research that her laboratory is pursuing.
