ETOX alumna Sara Vliet has received the 2020 Yves Alarie Diversity Award for Trainees and Young Investigators from the Society of Toxicology's Computational Toxicology Specialty Section. The goal of the award, named after long-time SOT member Prof. Yves Alarie, is to enhance the professional development of the trainee or new investigator. Sara has indicated that she plans to use the award to help cover the cost of attending the SOT annual meeting, other scientific conferences and participating in virtual training to increase her computational toxicology skills.
