Jeff Perry Receives Grant to Study Drug to Fight Breast Cancer

Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and ETOX faculty member, Jeff Perry, recently received a grant from the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs of the U.S. Department of Defense to study AOH1160, a drug discovered at the City of Hope Medical Center that selectively kills cancer cells through targeting proliferating cell nuclear antigen.  More information on Dr. Perry's research and the award can be found in the UCR News webpage here.  We congratulate Jeff on this award and wish him success in his research.  [Photo is from the UCR News webpage.]
