The research of Manuela Martins-Green, faculty member in the Department of
Molecular, Cell and Systems Biology, and an ETOX faculty
member, was recently featured in UCR Today. Manuela and her research group have shown that liver damage induced by third-hand cigarette smoke in mice can be seen within a month of exposure and increases with continued exposure. The article and more information can be found
