Debbie Drake, Jane Evans and Ester Valdez (from left to right), three outstanding members of the Department of Cell Biology & Neuroscience (CBNS) and/or BNN administrative unit will be retiring this month after 20+ years of service to the university. Jane Evans has been a Staff Research Associate for Prof. Frances Sladek for many years and has worked with many students in Frances' lab and throughout the building over the years. Debbie has coordinated grant submissions and Ester has managed the lab course in Biology and CBNS. We will miss working with these great colleagues and wish them the best in their retirement. [Fortunately, Jane will be returning to work part-time in the fall for next year.]
