Yinsheng Wang receives Biemann Award
Dr. Yinsheng Wang, professor of chemistry and Director of the Environmental Toxicology Graduate Program, was awarded the Biemann Award by the American Society for Mass Spectrometry during its annual meeting in June. The Biemann Award is given to a scientist who is within 15 years of receiving his Ph.D. in recognition of significant achievement in basic or applied mass spectrometry. Dr. Wang was recognized for his work studying DNA damage, its repair and mutational consequences. More details on the award can be found at the UCR Today website.
