ETOX Fall Social

On Friday, Nov. 21, the director of the Environmental Toxicology Graduate Program, Yinsheng Wang and his wife Shuli, hosted the annual fall social at their house.  There was a good turn-out and good company.  Our thanks to Yinsheng and Shuli for hosting the dinner.  Below are some pictures from the event.

Toxicologist position at Precision Toxicology in San Diego

 Precision Toxicology, a rapidly growing, fast paced, patient oriented, and integrity driven company located in San Diego, California is currently looking for a Toxicologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a BS or higher degree in Chemistry, Biology, Genetics or other life science, with an understanding of drug metabolism.

Additional requirements include excellent customer service/people skills including excellent written, grammar, and English speaking phone skills able to field phone calls from clients nationwide. Due to the fast paced growth oriented environment of Precision Toxicology the candidate should be a quick learner who is able to contribute their expertise to the production, research and development, and customer service departments.

FAO JECFA Secretariat position open

The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations has a opening for a Senior Food Safety Officer who will provide scientific advice and serve as the JECFA Secretary.  The position is located in Rome, Italy and requires 10 years experience in safety/risk assessment of chemicals in food.  More information can be found here.  The application deadline is December 10, 2014.
