Carl Cranor publishes new book

Carl Cranor, a member of the Department of Philosophy and an ETOX faculty member has recently authored a new book entitled, “Legally Poisoned: How the Law Puts Us at Risk from Toxicants”. The book has been published by Harvard University Press and is the subject of news release from the UCR Newsroom which can be found here. Our congratulations to Carl for this noteworthy achievement.

Krieger Elected as AAAS Fellow

Our congratulations to UC Riverside extension toxicologist Bob Krieger who was recently elected as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences. Bob's selection was “For distinguished contributions to the field of pesticide science in teaching, research, and particularly in the communication of principles of toxicology.” This is a nice recognition of Bob's work and stature within the field of toxicology.
